Whats up on the tournament trail, unsanctioned events, anything to do with tournaments.

This is usually one of the least attended shoots of the year. But, with all the new guys from that area popping up, you never know. I would be OK with one division if there weren't many people there. Passing up the suckers, gar, and dog fish is going suck since they are typically half the fish we've seen out there. 2 a.m. stop would be OK with me also, might be able to make last call at the fin and feather 8-)

Question on the shoot. Is it just Poygan, Winneconne, and Butte de Mort, or is the Winnebago fair game also?

It has always been the entire Winnebago System which includes Winnebago to the dam at Neenah, Butte des Morts, Winneconne, Poygan, the Fox River to the Eureka Dam and the Wolf River to the Shawano Dam.

Any format would work for me. Been hearing rumors that the water clarity is pretty poor but i am still just looking forward to getting back on the water. Havent been able to make it out for awhile.

P.S. Tony that hurts deep, if the decision was completely up to me i would have stayed till weigh-in

we missed you at the weigh-in. Even had a cup of coffee waiting for you at the big fish scale.

Went scoutin last night. It was pretty rough. We did see quite a few gar ,but that don't do any good for the tourny. I was talking with another wba member, what does everyone think about maybe doing biggest 10 carp, and most sheephead. Split the pot,and also only going to 2am. From what I saw I think it would be a good idea.

I'm still for big 20, but big 30 is iffy because I don't know what your extra 10 woud be.... sheephead I guess.

Doesn't make much sense to shoot a numbers group but that's up to the numbers guys.

Comes down to the decision by the tournament director which is Joe and Josh.

Not gonna make it out there this weekend just found out that the guy I was shooting with is in Missouri with the boat and our back up boats generator hasn't recovered from starting on fire at castle rock. Good luck to everyone and thank you to all tourney directors for all the great shoots

Don't go through the weeds on asylum bay and don't go near the houses. Unfortunatly they don't like bowfisherman and your not suppose to take any motor through some kind of weeds. I was there before 10 and he didn't still didn't like it. And that's where we actually found a few fish. We might head ur home and skip this tourny, see what the boys want to do. We have seen quite a few gar but that don't do any good.
